Explore the vibrant culinary history of Los Angeles alongside the life and work of renowned portrait artist Don Bachardy in this hands-on class led by Maite Gomez-Rejón of ArtBites. Begin with a guided gallery tour and talk in the special exhibition “Don Bachardy: A Life in Portraits.” Then, head to the kitchen to prepare dishes from classic Los Angeles restaurants, inspired by historic menus from The Huntington’s archives.

  • Please check in with Education staff at Admission window #10 at 3:30 p.m.

  • Registration includes free admission to The Huntington the day of the class.
