Cook by the Book: The Committed

I am thrilled to partner with Julie Robinson of Literary Affairs in the third of our Cook by the Book online series.

Join us in an exploration of colonialism in art and food as inspired by the novel The Committed by Pulitzer Prize winner Viet Thanh Nguyen. Our evening will include a lecture over cocktails, and the preparation of dinner, followed by a book club discussion of The Committed, led by Julie Robinson, as we all sit down to enjoy the French-inspired Vietnamese meal we have cooked.

Menu:
The Committed Cognac Cocktail
Classic Bahn Mi
Coconut Flan

You will receive an email with the recipes and equipment needed before the event date.

Cost is 2 for 1 and includes the Books & Bathrobes event with the author of 4/13. Part of the proceeds will be donated to STOP AAPI HATE.
