Cooking with ArtBites for Black Lives Matter

All proceeds for this class will be donated to Black Lives Matter.

Written by Malinda Russell and published in 1866, A Domestic Cook Book, is believed to be the first cookbook by an African American woman. It is a historical treasure as much for its recipes as for its insight into the lives of free African Americans after the Civil War.

Together, let's explore Russell's cookbook and honor her memory by baking from its pages.
